Within this project we aim to develop a web based service which delivers site specific forecasts of soil temperature under the most important cover systems in German Asparagus production.

Based on predicted soil temperatures further projections and assessments will be provided for the daily yield and quality of white Asparagus. This will enable Asparagus grower to make well informed decisions about the most appropriate cover system to be used over the next days.
