The consortia of microorganisms forming the plant microbiome are of great importance to plant growth and health. Significantly, they contribute to the establishment and survival of plants subjected to environmental stresses. Therefore, enrichment of the plant microbiome with compatible partners, in the form of bio-preparates, is of potential support to crop productivity under stressed agriculture. Improving culturability of the not yet cultured part of the plant endophytic microbiome is a prerequisite for applying beneficial bacteria in plant production systems.
