Recycling of these and therefore a sustainable use of resources is possible with the production of light weight aggregates. In pre-experiments it was shown that they might be suitable to be used as mineral substrate components for plant cultivation as well.

In this project light weight aggregates from brick fragments shall be produced. Different capabilities in Vietnam will be considered and the production of the aggregates has to be adapted to these.
